Pietra Dura stone reproduction of Philippe de Champaigne’s Last Supper in oil

We proudly introduce a Pietra Dura wall plaque – a stone replica of Last Supper in oil by the French painter Philippe de Champaigne. The size is 63 inches by 42 inches. This has taken nearly 2 years of planning, design and stone selection as we use only pure and natural precious and semi-precious stones to replicate the artwork.

The stone work has been mounted on an aluminum sheet so as to allow easy installation on a wall.

The images above show how assembling a hand on the stonework involves a lot of detail. Needless to say each face, each piece of cloth and every other feature has the same level of detailing and quality. The original oil is on display at Musée Du Louvre, Paris.

This is a one and only piece and would be a great addition to the wall of a discerning patron.
